My Aim is to make dirty water clean and drinkable
Equipment-cotton ball, paper towel, cloth, string, bottle and some dirty water
Method/Designs- Our design is to layer the cotton balls and the paper towels by alternating it.
1.Get a water bottle cut the bottom of the bottle
3.Get a cloth and cut it in half
4.Put the cotton ball in the water bottle
5.then put a piece of paper towel
6.Put the cotton ball again alternating them until half of your bottle is full.
7.then pour the dirty water to the device.
8.then wait until the water is clean.
Conclusions/Observations- are design actually did work first try.We could have our filtering device to be faster to filter so that we don't die of thirst in the wilderness.

ReplyDeleteGreat work including the photos of your design, I found it very interesting that you got the water so clear on your first try. It would have been go for you to try and further optimise the design to be faster like you suggested.
