What did you learn about?
I learned that being mindful uses all our 5 senses I also learned that being mindful means being in the moment or being aware of our surroundings and being mindful is important when contacting other people. Being mindful also means, thinking before you speak.
Is there anything difficult to understand? Why?
It's hard to understand how the different ways of mindfulness maybe it is because we haven't taught before.
When talking to a classmate how did you know what they were feeling?
It's because of their facial expression or body language and how they react and how the tone of there voice are.
How can you apply your new knowledge to the business KETE?
I would listen carefully to my group's opinion and suggestions.

Who Moved my Cheese
What did you learn about?
I learned about the video called " Who Moved My Cheese" and we learned that the meaning of resilience is never giving up.
Quote: Tough times don't last; tough people do
Was there anything difficult for you to understand?
No, there is nothing hard to understand
How did you relate to the video "Who moved my cheese?
In the video, there is a person who doesn't want to get out of his comfort zone meaning he doesn't want to try new things. It teaches me that, In life, in order to gain more knowledge or gain more experience we need to get out of our comfort zone and try new things.
How will you apply your new knowledge to the business KETE?
If the plan doesn't work, make it work by solving it trying new possible ways to fix your mistake.

Let's Get advertising
-What am I learning
Today in Music we are making a letter for filming for our tourism ad that which we are going to enter in a competition (Fair go ad awards)
-How does this work show my learning
This shows my learning because I took part in the task we are doing which is writing a confirmation letter to Mr. Sutton
-What am I wondering
I am wondering if Mr. Sutton is going to approve our letter and give us permission to film outside the school and use the school vans.

Refraction (Investigating Refraction - Bending Light)
Aim: To investigate how light is affected by changing the substance it is traveling through.
Equipment: Ray box, power source, glass or perspex block, single-slit ray slide.
Method:
1. Collect the equipment from your teacher, and set them up to produce a single beam of light.
2. Place the glass block in the shaded area below.
3.PLace your box at the top of the page and shine the beam so it travels along 10 degrees line to the center of the protractor ( this is your angle of incidence)
4. Read the angle the light leaves the glass block at ( this is your angle of refraction)
5. Continue the investigation so you can complete the table opposite
Results:
10 degrees - 6.6 degrees
20 degrees - 13.2 degrees
30 degrees - 14.5 degrees
40 degrees - 25.4 degrees
Refraction Occurs because light changes speed and direction when it moves from one medium to another
Medium is the word used by scientist to describe a substance that light will travel through. A medium can be a solid or a gas.

Investigating the Laws of Reflection
Today in Science we did a practical about lights and reflections.
Aim: To investigate how the light behaves when it hits a plane (flat) mirror
Method:
1. Collect a ray of box, power supply, and single-slit ray slide from your teacher, and set them up to reduce a single beam of light.
2. Place a plane mirror on the diagram of the protractor as described below.
3. Vary the angle of incidence and record the angle of reflection in the results of the table.

Results:
0 degrees = 0 degrees
10 degrees= 10 degrees
20 degrees= 20 degrees
30 degrees= 30 degrees
40 degrees= 40 degrees
50 degrees= 50 degrees
60 degrees= 60 degrees
70 degrees= 70 degrees
80 degrees= 80 degrees
The angle of reflection was the same as the angle of incidence because the mirror is flat

9sp Art Presentation
Reflection
What have I learned about-
I have learned to do composition, planning with thumbnails, painting technique, cutting lino block, adding painted detail, and printing lino block.
What did you find the most challenging about the print design process?
What did I find challenging is when you are cutting the lino without gouges and printing evenly prints.
What did you find most challenging about the painting composition process?
I find hard to transfer the sketch to the A3 paper and painting the tiny spaces.
3. What mistake did you make that taught you something?
A mistake that taught me something is to color in the darker part of your painting before the lighter ones. Because if you colored in the lighter part it seems to mix with the darker part of your painting after the lighter parts of your painting dried.
4. What was the most successful about your work?
I think the most successful thing about my work is when I worked hard and put a lot of effort into it
5. What could you do to improve your work?
If I had a lot more time I can make my work a lot more beautiful and less dirty
